CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)

We're looking to hire a strong capable and exceptional COO. The key responsibility of the COO will be to ensure operational fitness at all levels by taking ownership of day-to-day operations to keep the business optimised and performing at its peak.

You’ll be driving operational efficiency while supporting innovation and rapid growth.

You’re an executor and a leader, with the ability to turn your attention to many different areas and move it along at pace.

Objectives for the role:

  • Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organisational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs
  • Execute strategy into actionable goals, implement organisation-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)

We’re searching for an experienced CFO to join our high performing team to help keep our finances insightful and instrumental to our continued success. You will have both day-to-day and ongoing impact on operations, helping us to analyse, strategise, and grow our financial position.

You're a seasoned strategist - not only understanding current accounting practices and trends, but you have some exposure to raising capital and adapting to change. As a member of our senior management, you will be comfortable in a leadership role that demands clear communication and presentation skills.

You will be accountable for the development, management and optimisation of the finance systems and processes to support Sunfed’s growth aspirations. This will be a highly commercial role, accountable for budgeting, reporting and forecasting, along with enhancing the sophistication of the processes that support procurement activity.

Objectives for the role:

  • Responsible, either directly or by managing staff, for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive our financial strategy and hiring needs
  • Coordinate the development of the annual operating, capital, and program budgets, and reporting against the same
  • Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities
  • Lead the development and use of best-practice policies, practices, and tools that ensure we have a well-controlled yet flexible business with strong fiscal management, project management, cross team communications and workflow
  • Complying with all financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing compliance, and taking action

Regular responsibilities:

  • Work with the senior management to efficiently develop proposal budgets, provide access to project finance information, and manage contract/grant compliance and reporting
  • Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyse internal operations, identify areas of cost reduction and process enhancement
  • Perform risk management through analysis of liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives
  • Monitor performance with tracking, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting for earnings calls, the management team, and the rest of the company
  • Manage the finance team, ensuring compliance with all accounting standards.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

We're growing rapidly with new clients and into new regions and are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the Sunfed team. We are after someone who is self-driven with a strategic mind that can identify opportunities and follow-through at pace.

  • Developing new growth and expansion strategies both local and global

MANUFACTURING MANAGER

We’re looking for an exceptional Manufacturing Manager that will keep the Sunfed engines beautifully well-oiled and always turning. They will manage, streamline and optimise manufacturing end-to-end, coordinate the operational teams, and help expand our range of world-first category-breaking products to market. We’re looking for someone who is motivated to make a real difference, and committed to growing with us at pace.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing manufacturing and all that goes with it. You’ll be owning operations at our production site and looking after all manufacturing staff.
  • Helping to create a culture of excellence - we’re an Agile business who value continuous improvement with lean principles and practical solutions.
  • Working with the core team of engineers, as well as external stakeholders.
  • Managing large scale projects - we have big goals! This could be around automation, process improvement, or any number of things.
  • Creating a strong food safety culture. We require standards compliant to the highest standards.

We’re always on the look-out for great Manufacturing Line Technicians to help keep the Sunfed engine turning. We’re a growing business and there are lots of opportunities for people who are keen to grow their career. We run both a day and night shift everyday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing ingredients, mixing, and general food handling
  • Packing and inventory of finished products
  • Performing required QA sensory and factory test for finished products
  • Accurately documenting and recording data and information for production and quality purposes
  • Ensuring compliance with all operations and QA procedures
  • Upholding strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements
  • Helping continuously improve functions and processes to optimise workflow
  • Cleaning and shutting down our production line
  • Running our machines from start to finish - continuously monitoring them and making sure they’re running optimally.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have experience on a production line in a food-manufacture facility.

MACHINE OPERATORS

We’re always on the look-out for great Machine Operators to help keep the Sunfed engine turning. We’re a growing business and there are lots of opportunities for people who are keen to grow their career. We run both a day shift and night shift everyday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setting up machines to start a production cycle
  • Operating core machines on the production line
  • Fixing any issues that might occur during production
  • Controlling and adjusting machine settings as needed to maintain product quality
  • Inspecting parts with precision and measuring tools
  • Testing operation of machines periodically and conducting routine preventative maintenance, adjustments and repairs
  • Checking output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Keeping records of approved and defective units or final products
  • Helping with general operation tasks including ingredients preparation, mixing, general food handling, packing and inventory of finished products, and all other related tasks
  • Performing required QA sensory and factory test for products
